Why not just get a skip?

Let’s face it – no-one lifes looking at a skip and your neighbours are likely to fill it before you do! Plus you lose out on a parking space, you have to load the skip yourself and there’s the need to organise additional skip & road permits.

 

So what makes you better?

Mr Tipper will turn up at a time you arrnage, load your job onto one of our vehicles, clean up afterwards & take the load away. No need for additional permits or skips blocking up your space. Simple, quick, easy.

 

Will it cost me more?

It will usually cost you much less. In fact we believe we have the cheapest loads in North Devon!

We only charge for what we collect; whereas with a skip you pay for the total volume. We may charge a little extra if the load contains hazardous materials, but we will discuss this with you prior to collection.

 

What happens to my waste?

We will recycle as much as we possibly can. Most items will be sorted & taken directly to recycling facilities, or prepared for re-use.

 

How much waste can you take?

Our trucks have a capacity roughly equal to two medium skips. Larger loads will require multiple visits. For less bulky loads, we have smaller vans & trailers that may be more suitable.

 

What does “registered” mean?

Anyone who transports waste for others (including all waste carriers and many tradesmen) is required to register with the Environment Agency. Failure to register is illegal under current environmental law and carries heavy penalties.

Mr Tipper is fully registered and compliant with environmental law – you can look us up on the public registers (or take our word for it).
